TGIF! It was time for this week to come to a close and none too soon. I am in good spirits but this house-bound thing is starting to get old. So lucky for me, I have the pleasure of trying a Bordeaux blend from Benziger Family Winery. This wine is deep red in color with bright ripe berry and a hint of black licorice. This wine would pair nicely with shortribs now, but for drinking without food I would personally cellar it (that means store in my closet) and give it a few years for the tannins to soften. Special note, I appreciate this wine was made with biodynamic grapes.
