This is a very deep red wine blend with Napa Valley Cabernet, Petite Sirah, Malbec, Zinfandel and Merlot that adds up to a great big wine. The merlot and malbec soften the blend. My first taste gave me cranberry but I expect that may be due to the youth of the wine. Then the thought of plum but maybe even prune without the jammy part. Finishes with black pepper.
