This throw back Thursday reminds me of the first time I tasted Papapietro Perry wines. The deep red Pinot is always one of my favorites. Offering layers of berries with vine-ripe strawberry and raspberry makes it fruit forward with a slight hint of milk chocolate that softens the overall taste that is also bright and oh so drinkable. I know that was a mouthful but so is this wine.
